    • RE: 🙋‍♂️ Yup, I'm Still Around

      I still stop by. Don’t play as much A&A as I used to, but I do check in to see what happening in the community.

    • Have you guys seen this big anouncement for A&A?

      Renegade Game Studios Expands Licensing Partnership with Hasbro Gaming Classics posted at BGG and Renegade Studios website.

      Perhaps we will see some beloved reprints and some new material for A&A.

    • RE: G40 Carrier Based Fighter Units

      Interesting concepts, but I feel your use of carrier-borne aircraft is too limited as written. Naval aircraft are just as effective on land as they are at sea. The Marines used all the same aircraft types as the US Navy during WWII. In fact, they adopted the Corsair for service before the Navy. You may also want to look into the contributions of the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy as well as the use of naval aircraft in the Battle of the Atlantic.

      The Charles De Gaulle is on the viewers left in this picture.

      The F-35s make up the extreme left and right of the formation. The Rafales are port, starboard, and astern the E-2

    • RE: Favorite post WWII conflict

      On another, somewhat related topic, does the author of this poll realize that Operation Enduring Freedom is the invasion of Afghanistan? The Iraq conflict was codenamed Operation Iraqi Freedom.

    • RE: Risk - The Walking Dead: scale of units same as Axis and Allies?

      Again, the Infantry unit is slightly smaller, but the truck is the perfect size for A&A.

      Those charts are quite nice! I appreciate the inclusion of the political situation for each power, as well as any national objectives/bonuses.

      I’m glad their first reprint is 1914. Did they mention how long the pre-order window is open?

      @superbattleshipyamato

      One thing you are not taking into account with your premise is the Iowa has superior search radar and fire control computers compared to the Kongo. The 16in guns would sink the Kongos before they even got into firing range and the engagement would end before they came within 10kms of each other.

      The Risk zombies are slightly smaller, but still serviceable for A&A. I am of the opinion that the Risk - Walking Dead rules are much better than A&A:Z…
