duh the axis dominate again.
I see lots of SBR on russia… but not on anyone else (germany has 2 majors and a minor in france so it is kinda pointless). the +2 damage is what wrecks russia, just make it 1d6.
well germany has more air units so doing small skirmishes comes out at a disadvantage normally. Also depends on germany… if he has two seperate stacks one north and one south, I may be tempted to hold ukraine with a mid stack or super stack bryasnk.
There just isn’t an incentive to trade units from the russian perspective. Russia is fairly limited, maybe if it had a bomber it would do more attacks.
As of right now, most players don’t like gambling with russia… unless germany does a sea lion, like massive naval buy, then yeah sure gamble with russia and be aggressive. Other than that… nope, not going to bother.
plus you can’t have a mid stack up north where you get isolated so your only real option is bryansk and attack back from there, that is it. sometimes you can if italy is not in the picture and/or germany has limited mech units.
Lots of players screw it and spam infantry to hold up. Russia just doesn’t have the income to compete with germany and usa is far plus he has to deal with japan… then you got uk who has to shutdown italy first.
it is good to fight back to keep the bombers away from russia, but sometimes you just can’t no matter what you buy or do. So most people just screw it, spam inf, don’t care.
Stopping production from minors when possible is very wise, you have to counter attack that when you can.
Next turn I got to debate going prussia or austria capital. sigh.

well japan is supposed to take calcutta… the game is meant for japan to take that if he is playing for his japan NOs. If anzac is under uk pac… that is too many inf for calcutta what the hell is the point?
If europe was broken down like finns were a country… europe might be cooler. yeah SBR on russia is the way to go… pretty lame imo. you only need 4-5 bombers to expect 20 damage instead of 5-6… huge difference.

J3/J4 dow is only if you are industrial bombing russia with japan. Allies have to take as much ground as possible, because russia will fall come G5 or G6, afterwhich usa/uk have to put enough to defend london and egypt.
Japan’s best window is J1 if he wants to attempt a pacific victory.
As allies, there are only a handful of strategies. You can race pacific against europe and go full KJF. You can prepare a massive d day landing off gibraltar, basically build up to take italy / liberate france (you pretty much sit there till your one big attack is good to go). Or you can attempt to turtle up russia/calcutta.
A J3/J4 dow pretty much makes KJF the best bet for allies.

catch 22 rules just add more rules to the game without adding any value to it.
You should bomb russia in our game veqryn, you grossly underestimate the impact. No, go for pacific victory.
