@nicholsonfile I am in Carmel, and I’m potentially interested in some games. Emailing me is probably the easiest way to get a hold of me. willijaa.as@gmail.com

RE: The game review video on Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition.
Can you elaborate on some of the improvements, so that I may hopelessly convince myself to buy it, knowing i’ll never play?
They re-did how the tech tree works. Now instead of following this weird bath, techs just have requirements you must meet before you can get them. Also, they added a new phase of the game called the Agenda phase, which happens after someone takes Mecatol Rex. During the Agenda phase there will be 2 political cards resolved.
Those are the major differences. There are some tweaks here and there with the races and rules.

RE: The game review video on Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition.
The new edition is awesome! It’s far superior to 3rd Ed, imho.

RE: Star Wars Rebellion
I think Saw can only be recruiting at the start of the game, and if so, you get to start with an extra leader, which is cool. Same with Admiral Motti.

RE: Star Wars Rebellion
I just picked up the expansion, but haven’t given it a whirl yet. Other than the theme (I hated Rogue One), it looks like there is a ton of great stuff in the box.

RE: Star Wars Rebellion
I disliked Rogue One, so from a theme stand point, I’m disappointed here.
Rogue One isn’t the only movie about rebels, so why should you be disappointed?
Though, I don’t even know why you disliked the Rouge One, it was pretty good, especially from disney.I’m sorry, but I respectfully disagree. The characters were terrible, especially Donnie Yen’s character. That was especially a shame because I love Donnie Yen so much. The plot was extremely lacking and didn’t address any of the political situation going from Episode III to IV. While we’d all like to forget the prequels, they are M level cannon, and I would have like to have seen it referenced. I could go on, but sufficient to say that I thought the movie was a pile of poo. It’s cool if you liked it though. I’m not trying to change your opinion.
One last thing as I end this post… telepathic tentacle porn monster? WTF?

I’ll check it out!
FYI- there is no AA 1939… Did you mean Global War?

RE: Anniversary edition reprint announced at Origins?
@Imperious:
I bumped into a guy on the street who said there would be an Anniversary reprint, so it must be true…
Ha ha…
exactly.
I’m sure you guys are j/k-ing, but I did title this thread with a question mark because I was doubtful. I was looking for a more credible source, so I came here.

RE: Anniversary edition reprint announced at Origins?
I think you are right, and I tend to agree.

RE: Anniversary edition reprint announced at Origins?
Indeed. I’m skeptical, so I’m trying to do 2 point confirmation.

Anniversary edition reprint announced at Origins?
I saw on BGG that they are reprinting AA50 at Origins… can anyone confirm?

However, the stuff they have previewed so far looks interesting, so I’ll wait and see.
