      It used to be free. Can’t come around to paying for something that used to be free.

      @Zhukov44:

      Basically, on the plus side the PBEM is no longer done through Facebook, but instead is available on the GameTableOnline page.

      On the negative side, games now cost 27 cents per game.

      I think the convenience (much less effort involved than say PBF here or TripleA PBEM) is worth the price–we’ll see how many agree.  The application is still imperfect alas.

      @gnasape:

      Instead of doing too much, it might be advisable to hit W Rus hard with 10 inf, 2 art, 3 arm, 2 ftr, and create deadzones all around and trade territories with Germany until the reinforcements arrive.

      This is usually what I do, and with a 3 inf, 3 arm buy you immediately have 7 armor which should be close to matching Germany and should prevent a German move to either Kar or Ukr for several rds.  You can follow up in rd 2 with 4 inf, 1 rt, 2 arm and your overall offensive units start to look pretty impressive:  3 rt, 9 arm, 2 ftrs.

      I’ve never faced this strategy as a full-blown offensive…but assuming the Allies are going with a KGF strategy, my instinct is just build a bunch of inf in Western and keep moving infantry into Eastern Canada (ie for the Atlantic shuck) while building a healthy amount of tanks.  At the same time fight back on the mainland with the Russians as much as possible.  I would think you would be able to hold off the Japs and still shuck 4 inf or more land units to Africa or Europe every turn.

      There’s just not a whole lot of IPCs in Alaska and Western Canada–as long as you can deadzone Western Canada and protect WUSA Allies should be ok.
