To be clear, any type of unit can hit any other type of unit unless the rules specifically state they can’t.

Unfortunately one of my Dumb @$$ friends lost some pieces to my A&A Pacific 1942.
Does anyone know where you can order more pieces?
Or is there any way to buy “Similar” Pieces that work?

Actually its the Spring 1942 I mean. thanks, not sure if i want to buy a used one . since most of the time they are missing the Pieces. but ill give it a shot

You could try contacting Wizards Customer Service at the telephone number on the back of the Rulebook, or by e-mail here. They may be sympathetic to your problem. It’s worth a shot.

Yes I know - and it has a seperate Forum - there is one Forum for the new 1942 Pacific Game and one for the older Version - both have separate Forums.
