My problem when searching for it was that the map was not looking the same as the boardgame; but you are right, when looking at it closer, I could see that the connections are the same…

The TripleA unstable lobby (184.108.40.206 version) is up and running, for now, although there are still bugs which prevents us from hosting and joining games directly in the lobby. But it is a good place to find AA50 players.

I’m still trying to figure out how to host a networked game…is it simply a matter of setting up a static IP?
to host a triplea game, you have to open port 3300, then you can host both in the lobby (stable version) and outside.
When hosting outside, then the host must start triplea and choose “host networked game”, and the player who is joining, must choose “connect to networked game”. If you can host in the stable lobby, then you can host outside also.
For those who don’t know, check out http://portforward.com/ and remember that for triplea, it is port 3300.

Answering the above question:
Different TripleA versions can be installed in parallel - they dont interfere with each other.
So just leave the old TripleA folder on your machine, to finish you PBEM games there.
The last Unstable I found (220.127.116.11) seems to have a severe bug!
Land troops unloaded from ships won’t attack enemy area, they just remain there and coexist with defenders.
This happened in many scenarios - and by induction, in any of them.
The bug has been fixed and will be coming out in the next unstable this weekend. Apologies for the trouble! :oops:
Thank you very much you team! I checked 18.104.22.168 unstable and it doesn’t have that landing bug in any situation.
Come across another bug under 22.214.171.124 in the ATARI scenario - so don’t know if it’s the engine or the scenario - US flotilla (destroyers, torpedo boats) comes to area of Japanese fleet (carrier+planes, subs, battleship), the sea gets colored red but no battle, they coexist. Can I send a sample file somewhere ?
Generally, is there a more direct procedure to help bug-fighting in a work like TripleA ?

The enemy ships that appeared to co-exist with the own were not moved but built there in the Purchase Phase.
I understood this is forbidden in some A&A versions and allowed in others - but can’t track now which is which
The scenario may have used the setting which allows that.
