Interested in starting AAM

Hey guys! As you can see, I’m new to the forum and new to the game as well. I think I’d like to start collecting and playing AAM, and I wanted some advice on where to start. It was reccommmend on the Wizards of the Coast forums that I get the 1939-1945 starter pack and a few boosters from the same set and others, like Eastern Front. I’m also most interested in making an all-Soviet and/or Axis army.

I started this summer with a starter pack. Then I bought some boosters (39-45), but now I’m buying on Ebay.
This way you combine your own army,depending on the side you want to play.
