New to the game and forums

  • I just want to start off saying hi since im new to the forums.

I purchased the 39-45 starter set this past weekend and have a few questions.  Why is it so unbalanced?  I decided to play as the Germans and lost each time.  I did ok the last game by staying in cover.

  • The starter is not meant, unfortunately, to be a stand-alone game.  You must buy at least a few more booster packs to get a good mix of units to mix-n-match a decent army together.

  • At least with only a few pieces you get to really know how to employ them best.

    Welcome to the game

  • @Motdc:

That’s exactly it. You’ll need probably 4 or more boosters to make the starter actually enjoyable. Anything less than 100 point battles just aren’t fun.
