This story brings out my charitable side. I would like to assume the burden of storing these pieces free of charge to all parties involved. I would be willing to provide safe storage of these pieces indefinitely. If need be I would even cover the financial cost, of having the proper documentation drawn up, to tranfer ownership to me. In his advanced years the owner shouldn’t have to deal with the strain of fighting the government. My charitable act would also save the German tax payers money.

I saw a really interesting thing on the black blizzard. It was incredible 10 years of black dust storms sweeping all the way to New York, followed by Locust swarms and bug infestations. Latter hundreds of thousands of jackrabbits appeared because all the predators were dead and like the entire midwest was infested with these because they were able to cope with the new climate. I never realized that the nation faced such a huge menacing cloud as in this picture:
Its like something you get from Mars rather than Earth.

Wow, that pic is crazy. But I don’t get why the food chain lost the upper links while the lower links stayed intact. Why would higher predators die off? Unaccustomed to the dust storms or something?

All the other animals died in hours breathing that air. It caused the lungs to liquefy. Humans lived in homes that had poor insulation and they had to cover up with wet towels and many died. Thats black cloud moved at 60 MPH and just made the day into night. The jackrabbits were able to survive on very dry conditions, while all the natural predators died off, creating a huge population rise. Entire counties were covered in jackrabbits running around. Its on the History Channel and its a must see. I could not believe how bad it was back then.
The locusts arrived because all the animals that ate them also died ( birds etc…) SO it was the same for other bugs like Centipedes and spiders… just showed up 10 fold and stung children and old people to death.
They said it covered the eastern half of USA is 1/4 inch dust, plus the Atlantic on the worst day called “black Sunday”
