• These are an example of “ordinary” painting level. They do not have helmet straps, detaile dface inking, or dry-brushing. They are painted in pale colors, then inked over to get the desired shade and shadows. Only the basic details are painted on after that.
      I ignored and painted over the leggings, because these needed to be different from my marines.

    To complimant my US marines, these are even nastier (in my game). My marines are just the same as any other soldiers, except they have thier normal hand weapons and 1 hand grenade to use each turn. These Red Devils have thier standard gun and a hand grenade OR they may shoulder thier hand weapon and use 2 hand grenades. This plays heck with my mechanized German troops. Its not so easy a choice to rush loaded Sd251s out if thier are any Red Devils lurking that have double the success rate against them.
