• Guys,

    Sorry for the delay in responding to this and I am not sure if Yope or Squirecam or Dave or Frimmel mentioned it but there is a discussion going on regarding the play of the new AAA game at;

    Check out if you like…

    Peace,
    GS :roll:

  • Sources say that Krieghund is NOT LH - only LHs clone - thus he has knowledge of the game without having written it ;)

    Sorry! The Emperor says teh sources have to be protected…. :evil:

  • On a different note, a couple of questions for Krieghund, now that transports have no combat value.

    1.  The UK puts a sub into the Baltic Sea, and executes a successful first strike on the German cruiser that is present, sinking it.  Is it necessary for the UK sub to also sink the U-Boat to destroy the transport?

    2.  Same situation as above, except the UK player also sends a fighter/bomber along in the attack.  The cruiser is sunk by the first strike of the UK sub.  Does the U-boat protect the transport, even though it cannot engage the aircraft, and the aircraft cannot engage it?

    The same situation could arise in the Med, with US/UK subs going after the Italian Navy and transport in conjunction with aircraft, and also in the Pacific, with the single Japanese destroyer being unable to be several places at once.

    Yes, unless the U-Boat submerges, leaving the UK sub and the transport alone.

    No.  Since the sub and planes can’t engage each other, the transport is defenseless.

  • Thank you, Krieghund, that does assist in some planning for responses to Axis first moves.

    Do the Anniversary Rules include National Advantages, and if so, does the UK still have the Colonial Garrison rule?  If so, this would be a massive help in defending Egypt, India, or Australia.

    I dont believe NA’s are in this version. [They are never properly balanced anyways.]

    You’re right, they aren’t.

    True enough but i don’t see why the german would choose the cruiser to take the first strike instead of it’s sub.
