• Dr. Dabić seems was able to full people around in years. He even spent one summer in Croatia.

Excellent. I’ll bet Mladić is shaking in his boots now.

Finally, a good news story for a change.

Aw, I thought this was going to be about D.B. Cooper…

  • You know, I am glad that the War Crimes folks finally nailed him.

In the modern era, leaders of nations need to at least CONSIDER that the international community may come in and yank them out by the short and curlies if they slaughter and abuse their own people; and seek to circumvent human rights.

I just wish the implementation were more CONSISTENT.

One thug down, many to go…

Yea, but seriously, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il and some of the rest are too powerful, and too socialist to ever be brought down by the United Nations.  People like that have the UN by the testicles and the UN knows it.

Now, if the security council on the UN would be staffed with a bunch of “American cowboys” we might see some real improvement in International Law Enforcement and International Diplomacy.  I am, of course, linking Law Enforcement and Human Rights together.

Yeah, that’s exactly what the UN Security Council needs. Big dumb rednecks with itchy trigger fingers in charge of world peace and diplomacy. Sounds like peace by slaughter to me. Do you think before you type?

And the whole “UN is impotent” thing is really getting old.

Here’s a little tidbit for you to chew on:

Since 1984, China (ROC/PRC) has vetoed three resolutions; France three; Russia/USSR four; the United Kingdom ten; and the United States 43.

So when you, an American, complain that the UN is impotent, it’s like pissing in the community well and then complaining to everybody that the well water tastes like piss.

WE are responsible for the UN being impotent. Everybody knows it. Everybody except you, apparently.
