Nice.
Advanced Squad Leader
-
ASL is a hex based WWII tactical warfare game. Players get to control squads through various scenarios, or make up their own (historical or not). Of course it’s infinately more complex than that.
The more rules I know the better, eh? I’ll just have to learn the rules as thoroughly as I know A&A’s then  -
ASL is a tight game! It can get bogged down with all the rule options, but you don’t have to use all of them.
It can be a really fun game especially when you play a campaign.
The only thing I dont really dig is the conditions for victory in some of the scenarios. But, other than that, dig on it, its fun.

Is it a board game?
-
hex based with RPG’ing thrown in for good measure.
-
Ive herd of the game. Where can you get it? Any web links?
-
try Multiman Publishing They created ASL and many other great looking games (haven’t tried any others yet).
-
Sounds fun! :D

Yeah, if you want to read a 200+ page rule book with a errata sheet the size of a football field. Ahhh… the memories of North Africa.
-
All the errata sheets and replacement pages are included in the full colour and easy to use (well, sort of) second edition. Do I sound like a walking advertisement to anyone else?
-
Well I’m sure Advance Squad Leader can’t be that take (esp. since there are those who actually play it)… besides, I bet it nowhere near as bad as Campaign for North Africa.
