Intriguing. I didn’t realize someone had gotten as far as making at least a functional map and XML that could be played using a decent amount of edits. There is always a chance that TripleA would support 1914 but it would require a developer to make a number of engine enhancements to support the many ‘interesting’ rules that added.
TripleA PC/MAC Compatability
My friend has a Macintosh. He plays a turn in TripleA, saves the game & emails me the savegame file (filetype: .tsvg),
I use a PC machine. I load TripleA, and load my friends savegame.
It loads perfectly!
I then SAVE the same game (with or without doing a move) and email the savegame file to my friend.
Bang… He can’t load the savegame, but instead get an error message.
Could someone help me out here pls?
It seems possible to load a savegame that comes from a MAC into a PC machine
But it seems impossible to load a savegame that comes from a PC into a MAC.
Is it so?
Post the error message, verbatum.
My friend is using a Mac OS 10.4.10
The error message says: “Could not load game games.strategy.triplea.delegate.EndTurnState”
The error message is enclosed in a JPG-file to this post.

hmmm… I’ll pass it along…
Are you sure your friend is using the same triplea.jar file that you are using?
