Use a lot of the same units. Whenever I play, I give one player like 10 shermans if he is the us. or 10 panzer IVs if he is germany. It helps because you have less cards to look at for the movements and attacks. If you cut out air, that shortens it too.

i’m new to wargames and AAM in particular. I just bought my first AAM game. So far the advance rules are a bit confusing. how do i start playing this game? is there a more simple way to start with? if i start with 4 pieces do i role 4 dice at a time? does each dice represent each piece on the board? it says i build my army at one end of the ‘board’ and my opponent builds his at the other end, where exactly is this? in the corners or anywhere on ends?
