That’s the issue with pseudo-science. Peoples need to make outrageous and never eared announcements to get attention and eventually money.

This guy puts a lot of interesting facts on his site but when it put them together,
he is like Richard Castle telling a murder story to Lt Becket who’s trying to figure the puzzle out of a bunch of facts.
Castle’s story remains false but it provides new hints to get further in the investigation of the case.

In the first video, at 55 minutes and 00 second, Hoagland talk about this Saturn’s moon (Iapetus) and about artificial moon.

This moon was in the book of Arthur C. Clark, as the goal while it was change in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey for a Jupiter’s moon:

Seeing Hooker was never going to take the offensive, Lee pulled two more Divisions, those of South Carolinian RH Anderson and Georgian Lafayette McLaws from in front of Hooker and led them himself against Sedgwick in conjunction with Jubal Early. It is pretty big. I really don’t think I need the whole TB but it was on sale and I had $25 bucks in rewards certs from Best Buy so it was pretty cheap compared to even the other 1TB drives and per gig cheaper than the 500GB drives.

I’m still kind of having trouble wrapping my head around it really. I remember my Dad bringing home those giant serving platter sized ‘floppies’ that were something like 16KB.

I’m still a little freaked by my 30GB iPod with video.

You could use the back ground music from “Pearl Harbour” for the Japanese. (I know the movie is weak)

You know what I mean? Everytime a scene from the moive cuts to the Japs this awesome drum beat kicks in. The best part of that movie is the scene that has a far away shot of Hawaii then a one Zero flies into frame and then another and another until the whole sky is filled with Jap Zeros and that deep, epic, drumming is going on……tight. I get goose bumps watching it.

Now that I’m thinking about it, in addition to the drumming there is some flutie type piping going on. It sounds very “far easty”

The worst invention in my opinion ever invented would be Video games. Talk about a waste of time and money for kids. About 99.5% of all video games may bring joy, but do nothing for the people plying them. They spend hundreds of hours playing them only to end up with NOTHING in the end. Nothing!

Not to mention it is the universal agreement between these companies to continue upgrading as fast as they can to get new systems to the market. It’s like they can’t wait to make these machines obsolete and squeeze another 300-400 bucks outta some family.

Oh, ……and I think Nuclear Weapons is a dumb invention also. I see many people already said this one. Good for all of you.  :-D

At the same time, one could probably get an ob/gyn, a psychiatrist and a statistician together for a retrospective study - even if it’s a simple questionaire. … It could simply analyze feelings, thoughts etc. … Clinical depression is evaluable, as is anxiety, PTSD, and one can measure drug intake if your state/province has a DPIN system. Other out-comes too might be evaluated in terms of 3, 5, and 10 year morbidity, mortality etc. (i do believe some have been done with some equivocal data).

True, with the first. Though the problem with questionaires is that you have to be extremely careful with the wording. I fear that any study on this can very easily be manipulated by the according interest group who launched it. So, you could make a study testing depression etc., but that then must be done to women who have given birth, have aborted, have not been pregnant, and no question should somehow relate to pregancy.
Then, after evaluated for these three different groups, you could start to make some statitics out of that.
But, i fear that the above-mentioned statistics did not pay enough attention to that, something i conclude from the “30% to 60%”, an error i can not accept when having 1000, say “datapoints”.

I’m not saying it is all alarming, I’m just listing the act in it’s entirety.
