@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.
Chatting on the Radio

Question: I know spotters cannot move when calling in fire (Chatting on the radio) but what if they are on a transport? cna they call it in then while moving.
Also. Has anyone had any success with using an MG42 on a 251 (3 attacks) would be nice in theory.
I’m trying to figure out blitz tatics and fast moving hit a run stuff.

Chatting on the Radio does not prevent a unit from being transported, nor does being transported have any affect on the ability.
With a vehicle defence of only 2/2, an MG42 on a Halftrack is very expensive for a very vulnerable unit. All it takes is one hit from even a mediocre unit and you lose it all. It can be useful if there’s nothing around to hurt it… but that isn’t often.

Before D-Day made every other mortar almost obsolete, the Soviet mortar reigned supreme on the KV-1. That combo was great. :-D
