  • @Stucifer Thank you! (I think.) I had hoped to trap your Japanese fleet in southeastern Australian waters; I figured you could take Sydney, but you’d lose enough planes fighting and I’d have enough of a presence in Hawaii that you’d be stuck there for a while. That didn’t work out, because you fought so well in Australia…so if I can’t hit your fleet, maybe I can wear you down on land. The odds of actually taking Tokyo are tiny, but since I was able to take Kwangtung, you might find that the loss of the infantry on the Japanese home islands is punishing. Or not! Maybe you’ll have a surprise for me. I look forward to finding out.

    @Argothair It’s a bold move, and I love to see those. I think it was a high-risk play with the kamikaze potential. Losing Kwangtung and all the convoyed IPCs will hurt Japan for a bit, for sure, and I don’t know if there’s a way for me to capitalize on your fleet being so far out but I will certainly be trying 🤓😈
