I took a spin of @VictoryFirst 's new World War 1 1914 module that integrated The Good Captain’s balance rules. I played both sides. The game transpired to be quite evenly balanced, and I’d like to continue the game with a human player. You would need to download VictoryFirst’s new module to play it (simply download the zip file, moving into the DownloadedMaps folder, then upzip it, though you might need to restart TripleA): https://www.mediafire.com/file/6iqf74g0s1zyktp/world_war_i_1914_balanced.zip/file
Who wants to play Global 1940 with no income?
-
For those who don’t know, it’s basically Global 1940, but:
There are no IPCs.
No one will ever collect IPCs.This means that the only units that will ever be on the board are the ones available. to both sides at the start.
It’s definitely a unique and very different experience.
I’m fine as either Axis or Allies, and we’ll be using regular dice, no bid.

@SuperbattleshipYamato
Global 1940 with combat move first, I think is just the Global 1940, where you perform combat move phase before purchase phase, right?
This version you described must be something else/different. -
In that case, I must be mistaken. I’ll test it.
However, I have figured out a way to eliminate the purchase phase entirely. It is that type of game I’m asking about.
-
I changed the title to prevent any confusion. Thank you for pointing it out.

@SuperbattleshipYamato Cool. I’m not really into that… :) Just looking for a regular G1940 PBEM game.
Cheers!
