Tank blitzing through newly conquered territory

All combat moves occur during Combat Move Phase. Additional combat moves - once the Conduct Combat Phase has started - are not allowed.

Also the term of “blitzing” is used only for one single situation that occurs during Combat Move Phase:
“A tank can “blitz” by moving through an unoccupied hostile territory as the first part of a move that can end in a friendly or hostile territory…”.
(Rulebook Europe 1940SE, page 15.)

So your case/question is not a case of “blitzing”.

All combat moves are done before any combat is resolved.
All combat moves, so after you start rolling dice no more combat moves are allowed.
This situation is pretty clear, your tank cannot blitz because there is a blocking infantry in the way.

After the infantry is removed only non combat moves are available and you cannot capture new countries in non combat.

You could blitz into a friendly neutral country, as thats considered a non combat move. So if germany stands in egypt with a tank it could first clear a blocker in trans-jordan and then blizz into iraq.

I’m not sure this is correct. Units that moved in CM can’t move in NCM except for Air.
The move into Iraq would be both a CM to Jordan and a NCM to Iraq.

Or you mean Jordan is cleared by units other than the Tank ? Then the Tank could move to Iraq but it would technically just be moving 2 spaces, not blitzing.

Yea i mean germany clears TJ with other units leaving the tank behind.
And then in NCB the tank moves through TJ and into iraq.

Ofcourse the only units that move in CB and NCB are air units.

@G40NEWB there are several cases that can occur here. A tank can move through two territories at once. For example, you can use a tank to “blitz” through a UNOCCUPIED friendly territory or an UNOCCUPIED enemy territory and then use another move and go into a different territory. If the territory is unoccupied then you automatically capture both territories. If there are enemy troops in the SECOND territory you “blitz” through, you engage in combat. If there are enemy troops in the FIRST territory you travel through your movement is stopped immediately. You are not allowed to move anymore.

All combat must occur in one turn so you are not allowed to clear a territory and then blitz through it. But, if you have a tank that is two territories away from where you want to attack, then you may use the two movements you have with your tank and have a coordinated attack. If you still don’t understand go to YouTube and watch a guy called board game nation. He should explain it well and watch the finals 2023 match too for more examples.

No, sorry, as explained above only a tank moving through an unoccupied hostile territory as the first part of a move that can end in a friendly or hostile territory is performing a “Blitz” move.

A tank that is moving through a friendly territory (occupied or unoccupied) to reach a hostile territory does not blitz but uses his two movement points during Combat Move Phase.

A tank that is moving through a friendly territory (occupied or unoccupied) to reach another friendly territory does not blitz but uses his two movement points - allowed only during Non Combat Move Phase.

You can’t capture a friendly territory you moved through. In that case you capture only the second territory, provided it was hostile and unoccupied.
