    Tagging you! In league, the bis is single digit for the AXIS, as another change, but you are new to the map, and I am relatively new while never playing the allies, so I figure just let it ride.

    While the tripleA will prompt you for scrambles, which an AB now lets you scramble to adjacent land spaces as well, and CV’s can scramble 1 unit each to either an adjacent SZ or land space, which is a nice warning as you get familiar with it, a CV is only allowed to scramble to a SZ that has a defending SURFACE WARSHIP, so if you have a SS or a TT there, while tripleA will allow the scramble, the rules say you can’t.

    You can scramble from a airbase against a TT though.


  • @mainah Of course! I’m excited to play the axis. I’ve actually been playing the allies for some reason for the last few games I’ve played. So, this is exciting. Checking out the game and hope to have the opening move in today for you. Seems like things are pretty different for the axis on this variant.

  • @mainah weird. I downloaded the first one you posted again to check. Nothing there. I think I need to update my TripleA. I’m going to do that and see what happens.

    I doubt it.Remember all of this is run on a volunteer basis on a shoe string budget. Quirky errors happen time to time

    This came up in another game, so I wanted you to be aware - for the Atlantic wall NO and the Americans in North Africa NO an AA gun counts as a land unit.

    But you still can’t activate a friendly neutral with an AA gun.

    I had to ask for a ruling, and got the official answer from one of the gents that designed this game.

    Thanks for the info. So… Japan. What a difference the map and unit costs make. Seems like a whole new pacific. 3 Japanese islands to defend! Can’t shuffle air around quite like the original map either. Means more airbases most likely. Allies are up:
