    BTW we have not discussed edits. My standard edit policy is below. If you wish, I am happy to play a game with no edits allowed as per the default League Rules. Also, if you wish to tweak my edit policy to be more in line with what you normally play I am willing to discuss revisions to it.

    Andrew’s Edit Policy:
    a) Once a combat roll is made no edits of any kind before the combat roll occurred are allowed with one exception. Forgotten Units. A “Forgotten Unit” is a unit that never moved during that Power’s Turn and that unit unequivocally and without any doubt was just forgotten to be moved and that the requested edited move is obviously the intended move if the unit had not been forgotten. Any doubt, no matter how small, voids this exception. Including any potential gain of knowledge received due to dice rolls.

    b) Once Opponent B has posted in any format a portion of their current Turn no edits of Opponent A’s previous Turns are allowed. This includes “Forgotten Units”.

    c) Any Edit necessary to fix an illegal move. Such as flying a plane over a Neutral into combat. Not unloading combat ground troops picked up during the Combat Move phase from a transport during an Amphibious Attack. Not placing all possible units during the Mobilize New Units phase.

    I think you will find it plays fairly similarly to OOB. You’ve likely seen this elsewhere but I’ll highlight a couple of the key differences to track when you are axis.

    1. Both sides (but the allies especially) have other national objective bonuses that you don’t get in OOB. It means areas of the board that you normally might be able to ignore have now become more important to contest.

    2)The China guerilla rules slow Japan a little as you cannot keep inland Chinese territories empty of land units (not including AA). If they are empty they spawn a new Chinese inf.

    1. The Vichy rules mean that if you take France and Normandy and leave Southern France untouched (and no other allied power lands a unit there), most of the French territories (and their land units) become axis friendly neutral (and the 93 fleet will defend against allied movement into that sea zone so can function as a blocker). In the short run, this tends to favour axis because those units and territories can more easily absorbed by the axis and Italy especially. In the long run, it can favour allies, because as pro axis territories they can now be captured by the allies.

    2. One can now do amphibious landings with the marine unit even if they don’t have a transport. Cruisers and Battleships can carry one each .

    3. when capitals are taken, they can only be looted for their income once.

    Sure, Yunnan was great and your battleship missing 3 times in 110 (because my royal airforce was drunk too) was also much appreciated.
    But that perfect G1, even with your 106 gamble, was followed by my failed 112-gamble and the China-combats besides Yunnan.

    But nothing too crazy, it could have gone way worse!
