The Italian’s on the eastern front are resting (read rebuilding the fiat engines every 8k miles per manufacture instructions), drinking ouzo, and enjoying the august summer break in the Balkans. They appreciate your concern, but not to worry - they will resume their duties in September, as is the custom.
I am asking for clarification from the BM guys - I had this done once to me and as it is labelled “any occupation by axis” in the BM notes, i didn’t contest it. But that does not mean that’s correct.

@mainah And, I’m totally fine with moving forward as it is and if we find out we made a mistake, we can change that up in the next game. Just let me know if you find anything out and I can make a move… don’t see any real battles for ANZAC anyway. So can always EDIT if necessary.

Sounds good. I found a post stating that an non-french as gun in southern France will prevent the Vichy trigger (as in g1 Germany captures France and Normandy, uk1 transport moves as from Malta to southern France, no Vichy) but nothing directly addressing the axis doing it -
@mainah Thanks for taking a look. Considering the standard rules of taking friendly neutrals, I would think that an AA does not qualify, but… I’m not entirely certain it matters all that much for this one. Helps Italy out a bit (and damn aren’t they the powerhouse in this variant!).

Yeah - I no It wouldn’t apply to any other one, but Vichy france itself isnt called a friendly neutral in the notes - and you don’t activate the troops or the fleet when you occupy, they disappear. -
And the AAA gun is sufficient as a land unit for the us NO in say Morocco but not stopping the Chinese guerilla rule.

So posting to forum worked even though I got an error message.
I edited the southern france move. It has been ruled illegal, but I am still working on clarification of southern france’s status.

We will play on, but I am still seeking clarification. I think if AAA can’t go in during NCM, then it should change to a CM movement. Notes state occupation, not activation. Notes make it clear that southern France is an exception, and is not considered pro axis neutral. -
