    I registered with marti, but couldn’t figure out how to properly set up the game file. UK1 combat move attached. Scramble? Submerge? OOL for SZ95?

    And I guess this would be a good time to ask - the sub in SZ98 should be able to attack SZ95, but TripleA doesn’t allow it. I’m not sure why. Is that a legal move?


    1. No scramble.
    2. I will set it up for dice server on the Italian turn. You have to select play by email to get the dice server option
    3. That sub can attack, you just have to manually route it to avoid the Italian destroyer.

    Stacking in Amur looks like a losing move even with an additional bid to add more units to the pile. It usually results in a very weak Moscow that Germany can easily crush on G6.

    The more I think about it, the more I like the Amur stack with any G1 opening. It takes a transport, so it does stop a J1 Cow. The BS and extra income really help the southern fleet. And with those territories all being worth 1, the income difference isn’t that much. But that’s for different test run.


  • I have never seen a successful Amur stack in a League game. Perhaps there is some way to make it work with a large Allied bid.

    It seems any Allied strategy needs a large bid to work.

    Would you happen to know of any league games with an Amur stack I can look at? I’m not sure I’ve seen it in a while.

    It probably is a deadend, but I wouldn’t mind testing it out.


  • @govz I still would have built a DD and taken Gibraltar on Italy 1 even with a UK sub in SZ92. I would need a plane to support the transport, but that still gave me good enough odds to take Greece.

    A plane can’t clear the SZ. You would need to bring a boat.
