@sweetchops27 Surprised that Senussi isn’t on here as an Ottoman-Aligned Territory (land area could be in-between Cyrenaica and Egypt) . If you don’t want to add more territories, you could very well replace Cyrenaica with it and make it north and south instead of west and east.
Map not working on TripleA. [1914]

Unable to start a game.
Failed to start game java.lang.IllegalStateException: Error in resource loading. Unable to load expected resource: polygons.txt, the error is that either we did not find the correct path to load. Check the resource loader to make sure the map zip or dir was added. Failing that, the path in this error message should be available relative to the map folder, or relative to the root of the map zip
I checked the destination folder and the text document is present.
Did anyone have a similar problem, and if so, how did you fix it?
-
@naviator are you on 2.5 ? I think this happens with the latest 2.6 pre releases.
If so, go to your triplea folder, downloaded maps and open the zip and put the folder directly in the downloaded maps folder. You need to rename it by deleting the -master
Also remove the zip completely
Edit
ahh see this is 1914. I still think the above should work but lets ask @The_Good_Captain -
-
@barnee sometimes I hear that the onboard version provided by TripleA of 1914 doesn’t work. So I recommend downloading this version of 1914: https://www.mediafire.com/file/6l8ni5rzkruakro/world_war_i_1914.zip/file
Instructions for download/use: You have to move the unzipped map to the downloadedMaps folder in the folder where you installed Triplea. Reboot the game and look for 1914.
-
@barnee I’m still on 2.5, I could try the mentioned method.
-
@naviator Tried both methods, Captain’s doesn’t fix. Barnes’s creates a new error, probably bcs I’m still on 2.5.
-
@naviator said in Map not working on TripleA. [1914]:
Barnes’s creates a new error,
can you post the new error ? I’m pretty sure opening the zip should work. It’s the same as what The Captain is doing
-
@naviator Not sure if it is supposed to look like this, but this is all I got so far. Does it look like this, if not, how to fix this?
-
@barnee I am not able to recreate the bug anymore, I suppose it’s only the first time I loaded, the result above was done by your method, with the renamed folder instead of the zip file.
