  • @pejon_88 If calculations state you win 70%+ of the time and you might have lower odds later down the line, you should always go for it. That 70% means you will have made the right decision 100% of the time, but it also means you are going to blame the dice 30% of the time and wonder what if you hadn’t pulled the trigger.

    @soulblighter Yeah sure if odds were worse later. What I mean is that even though you statistically should win the battle, you should statistically also lose about 15 TUV in the battle which is as important 🙂

  • @pejon_88 I think people underestimate numbers in combination with what you are rolling. I specifically started building more tactical bombers to combine with the tanks later. This gave me more stuff that rolled at four. I had way more stuff rolling 4 and 3 then you did, while sure you had heaps of stuff rolling at 2, but given we had about same infantry it allowed me to even out in my favor. I am not sure the calculator is accurate in this regard.

    @soulblighter I’m pretty sure the calculator is accurate before round 1. That means on average you would win 70% of the time and go -15TUV. After 1st round it all depends on what is left from that round and you would need to re-calculate based on what’s left. However, you won by about 6 extra aircraft, that is +50TUV instead of -15TUV. The outcome was therefore not that unrealistic. A couple of dice here and there pretty much. What is surprising to me though is that we both scored -3.5 on average the whole round. There were no other battles fought which could affect the outcome so I reason why it didn’t end on -15TUV must have been like you said, you hit better on subsequent rounds or similar.
