I know a number of people take issue with Ottawa as a VC.

IMTO as long as this statement remains true, I don’t have a problem with VCs being in North America.

Conversely, if a successful Axis lodgement in North American does not spell Axis victory then I think the game needs fixing… most likely by putting VCs in North America.

Personally, I cannot imagine FDR and Churchill shrugging off the Nazis taking Montreal as long as Warsaw or Hong Kong was in Allied hands.

Assuming the Japanese don’t attack J1, One strat I tried was for the US to Move the Fleet to Wake, and I built a naval base there on US 1. If Guam is open on US1, move the fighter and troops there too. Now your forces at Wake are in range to counter attack or reinforce Guam, and the Aussies can fly up all four fighters on ANZAC 2 (actually, 1 can move up on ANZAC 1).

Guam is a key location for the Allies, specifcally the US, to attack Asia & lots of targets from.

I agree that it would happen so rarely its not really worth worrying about the consequences. I doubt the guy who was playing the US will ever let that happen again. Thanks for helping to point out the NO rule on the IPCs though. Didn’t even think about that aspect of it.

No T1 attacks, please, its far too early. Just think about it, do you realy want USA to collect 62 IPC, UK to collect 37 IPC and ANZAC to collect 18 IPC when you still are on less then 30 IPC ?

You need to attack Kwangtung at the same time you attack Phillipines and Malaya. To do this, you will need to take control of FIC in T1, and then move your trannies into position for several attacks. In T1 you only have like 3 trannies. Your best opportunity to attack will be in T3, or maybe in T2. Not later, and not earlyer.

UK 37 is a huge lie

13 is more accurate, malay can be takes round 3
US + 40 is nothnig compared to what they lose
take kwantung with land forces :)

I guess Manchuria will be also an option in global game if non-agression pact is not the game
