After 5 rounds, Commies have 4 tech from 7 dice rolls, more than all the Entente combined. Entente have 3 tech from 52 dice rolls. C only spent 10 cash, the rest were free science tech dice. France spent 25 cash in round 4 alone, but failed to get a tech, and its tech dice were lost when Paris fell.
-
I thought with the unusually strong, early USA presence in E Russia, that R could stabilize its position vs C. But C can outspend and outproduce Irkutsk. So with mobile builds, it is almost guaranteed taking Bratsk next round. R can only retreat, with an undefended interior, with C racing across the continent. As Hitler said in WWII, "We have only to kick in the door, and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down.” This will be a repeat of game 1.

@elrood Ah, I don’t think your sub attack on sz137 should be allowed as you made an edit after France’s last turn to move within range…
-
@redrum Agreed, you might not have placed yourself in jeopardy, had you known in advance.
-
@fmerwinrommel Yeah not really sure why that edit was made. I hadn’t noticed it til now.
-
@redrum ah but Rommel said I should edit it! Was not even my idea… So… argue with Rommel, not me! ;-)
-
@redrum seemed weird that you would gift is a soft kill. Thought you were losing it!
Seems fair to edit it back in, Seb. Not sure where you need to ask Adam to put the Sub though .
-
My fault for mentioning the sub without placing a restriction on its ability to affect an enemy unit that had already moved.
-
@FMErwinRommel i saw that you had offered it; I didn’t realise that it was after Ron’s move .
Ron should have asked Seb, if he wanted to move his Sub. I blame him!
I know Seb is still seeing a psychiatrist, after that crappy Paris assault. We need to treat him gently. -
Edit the french sub back, and add a BB while you are at it. I do not care.
-
@elrood I think a Battleship is excessive . They can have a Cruiser .
-
@Elrood 34 FGs should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for most Triplea FG builds.in one turn. To support the hordes of cav you will build the next few turns. You certainly are tenacious in your quest for Paris. And to think you passed up the chance to build 8 BBs in one turn. I’m envious that you built a Zep before I did. I had so much fun with my Austrian pair in the last game. Your 3 Western Front ICs are luscious targets, but will probably have to let USA build Zeps instead.
-
I edited the German sub back to where it was as I don’t think there is any place that it is safe from the UK destroyers.
