Several costs for running this site have gone up in 2022. For instance hosting went up and now we have to pay for our Gmail (Google for Work) account, which used to be free for over a decade.
This support drive will end on December 31, 2022 and the next one will begin in 2023.

Sorry folks, there’s some unknown problem with the 2022 and 2020 badges. It’s going to take some time to figure out what’s going on – it’s likely a bug.

The 2020 badge is visible on my profile page, but not in the topics. Strange, isn’t it?
Also in my account settings there is no (longer an) entry for the 2020 badge. -

Hi all just catching up on the badges. It looks like at worst, I’ll be updating once a month. I would hope to apply the badges faster than that but it seems that monthly is a goal I can actually achieve.

In order to raise the needed amount of “IPC” due to increased Hosting Costs etc. would it be possible to donate twice - or more - for 2022?Example:
Axis & Allies players who have already donated GOLD could donate the same amount again - up to three times (or more):- 1st donation: Gold
- 2nd donation: Gold with Oakleaves
- 3rd donation: Gold with Oakleaves & Swords
- etc.
The higher grades to the Gold Donation could naturally be named as you like - this is just an example that came to my mind.

@the-captain I like this idea a lot but I don’t have a lot of options on NodeBB to do something special like this. There was a 3rd party plugin but then it feel behind updates and is no longer usable.
I would have to write something myself and I don’t have time at the moment. So in the meantime, you’ll just have to encourage your gaming buddies to donate. :wink:
