  • @nikola1975 You brought 2 subs to the battle, but only hits from my DD can be assigned to your subs. Any hits from scrambling planes can only be assigned to your planes unless you bring your own DD to the battle. I think thats the rule…Is that your understanding as well?

  • @max334 No, it is not right after all. Planes can hit subs if there is a destroyer there. So, I am staying with 2 subs as originally intended :)

  • @nikola1975 t I’m looking on page 33 of the rule book and it says the DD has to be from your side (ie ‘destroyer friendly to the air units in the battle’).

  • @max334 2 subs. I tried to run the move offline, it killed the subs from the fighters. If you have a destroyer in the battle, you are able to hit the subs and the other side can chose them as casualties.

    Yes destroyers do change the situation but the destroyer has to be friendly to the air unit attacking.
