  • @flyingbadger Hm, I think I mixed up some rules. The move I started I assumed you are not able to scramble in the seazone where there is only transport, no warships. So I clicked you are not scrambling the planes. Now, I believe this is true only for carrier scrambles, right?

    I will play it again, your transport might survive there.

    The turn you posted looked fine to me, didn’t see your original one. Yes, you are correct to say that air bases can scramble to defend otherwise unprotected transports. They stuck with the original G40 rules for that situation.

    I think the carrier scramble requires a surface warship to be able to scramble to a sea zones, and both air bases and carriers require a defending land unit (but not an AA gun) to be able to scramble to a land territory. I think…

    I am clear now, you are right, carrier scrambles require a warship, airport scramble can defend transport as well.
