Thanks for telling me. I’ll try it sometime.
[Global 1940] Funny How...

The Burma Road only carried in 5-10% of supplies into Yunnan historically. I searched this up and here is a Quora article about it:
https://www.quora.com/How-important-was-the-Burma-Road-in-World-War-2
So how would “The Hump” be applied in G40?
The road is essential for balancing out China in the game :) so that the Chinese have an excuse to be a sting in the ribs to Japan for a few turns.
So I would say  keep the road and pretend it was more important in the war than it was because in reality, it is a game and games have to be balanced…!!!But no…
It is up to you to decide how to FIX this “mistake” by LARRY HARRIS himself /hj /hj /hj

We play Uk 1 inf or art can use the hump from Assam to Yunnan if China controls Yunnan.
You could have roll a 1 and it blocks the piece based on lost planes.

@general-5-stars Very nice :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: (might use that)
-
@all-encompassing-goose In our ongoing current playtesting we have China going first in starting the game, that keeps the Burma road open for a few more rounds building artilleries!
-
@nolimit I thought of doing that but with Italy after Japan so you wouldn’t need a balance mod to make Italy playable… buttt… if you make Italy powerful they go like: destroy US fleet instantly
So just add an extra… cruiser in the Med and a few “reinforcements” in Africa… ah.
Otherhow, your China idea is promising
I wouldn’t use it though because I have that “Hump” idea :grinning: 🇹🇼✈✈✈✈✈✈ -
Use this:
The Hump - The Hump was the name given by Allied pilots in the Second World War to the eastern end of the Himalayan Mountains over which they flew military transport aircraft from India to China to resupply the Chinese war effort of Chiang Kai-shek and the units of the United States Army Air Forces based in China. The Allied commitment to supply China enables the Chinese to resist even when the situation seems hopeless. The British empire and the United States may transfer up to 6 IPCs in total to China every turn as long as India and Szechwan remain in allied hands. The Nationalist Chinese regime is corrupt, however, and the allies must spend 2 IPCs for every 1 IPC that they wish to transfer to China.
Also, I don’t trust Quora, so you may want to post other sources as well.

@superbattleshipyamato Don’t know if players would spend 12 precious Ipcs just to send 6 Ipcs to China, that House rule might be a bit harsh on a Nation’s economy- The Hump was an actually dangerous way to send supplies to China, years ago I read a House rule like this: A Bomber may fly over the Hump with up to 6 Ipcs, however that Bomber must Roll a die and on a 1(Perhaps also a 2) it is destroyed along with the Ipcs to reflect the Real life high altitude danger the aircraft has to fly over…

We took a simpler approach, splitting the 6 pc giving 2 to each territory other than Calcutta. While limiting artillery buys to 1.

Or a 2 blocks it like all limits said. Think using a bomber plane is to much. Just lose the 6 icps.
Come on. Test test test.
