    A fun and interesting game. Felt you had Japan on the ropes for a long time. Very aggressive play against them, which made things difficult for me.

    You were also overly aggressive with Russia, which didn’t concern me that much actually. I rather welcomed being able to snuff out a lot of units from time to time. I think Russia has to be more conservative in their defenses. Atleast in the early and mid game. In OOB the exception might be grabbing Iraq and territories in Africa. Should be as few units as possible for that campaign. 2 inf or 2 mech perhaps, utilizing the british trannies.

    I believe a bid of 50 would be over the top, so something like 30-40 seems rational in OOB.

    You are a good player, and brave. Not counting the unfortunate knock-outs of fleet several times, you did a lot of daring sacrificial battles. It’s beautiful when it works and can really pay off, but perhaps you do them a bit too much. I was surprised at first, but then tried to adjust, sometimes even taunting an attack in the hopes of getting a TUV-revenue from the trades.

    We can definitely do a rematch, if you want.


  • Ah, yes, regarding Japan, I knew about it, but underestimated the consequences of going hard against Russia in the north. That’s clearly a trap and a bad mistake of pursuing it. I should just have let the ruskijs come to me instead. So hard with logistics and crushing the chinese has higher priority. As it was now I never controlled Yunnan during the whole game, which is very bad. Especially in OOB.
