Of course, if you think it’s fair it’s possible to adjust for the AWOL sb.
Would then roll 1d6 for the first battle round. If it hits adjust casualties and then adjust rolls for the next round (i e if one of the two cruisers hit, I’d roll 1d2 to find out if it was the hit or miss that was active). With a miss nothing changes. And then repeat for following rounds. It was 3 battle rounds in total.
I’m counting on not adjusting, but it’s your call. If you do the sb would land back in Cairo.

It’s slightly trickier though. If the battle had gone better, I would’ve sacked air instead of fleet, since only one air could land if the ac went down. Now I know the outcome, so that might make choices fishy.

@trulpen yes u can add the sb. we play quickly, which adds some excitement, so these things happen. It was a 4 round fight. So, as you said roll sb for round1 in the forum, if it hits roll 1d2 for round 2 cruisers with a 1 being a hit on uk ships. then go from there. It’s a small fight after round 2, so sb rolls and extra rolls for uk units that now survived shouldn’t be too bad. All other units keep their previous rolls
