  • @flyingbadger Made an edit. Rather than move 2 Inf and 2 Art from Kiangsi to Kwangsi, I only move 1 Inf and 1 Art and pick the others up in SZ20 during non-combat with the transport from SZ36 which hadn’t moved previously, and place them in FIC. Hope that’s okay.

    With the ANZAC DOW, the Pacific theatre has forced me to learn a lot about the politics of G40. Particularly what triggers loss/gain of objectives (like taking FIC) and what brings the US into the war and what doesn’t. Also how it can affect loading transports… :shrug:

    I got myself into a right muddle trying to load troops onto that transport because of the UK destroyer, but I just need to wait until the combat was resolved and then move them during non-combat. I really should only make combat moves during the combat phase but I worry I’ll forget by the time I get to non-combat and not know which transports are suposed to be doing what!

  • @flyingbadger I also do non-combats during the combat phase for the exact same reason: not to forget about them. It is not really following the rules, but it doesn’t harm your opponent. It is the opposite: In case you need to ask your opponent for a decision, e.g. for scrambling, the opponent has an advantage when he/she already knows about your non-combats when taking the scrambling decision.
