Well in his defense i actually have 2 games (using d12 system) that have both a primary and secondary attack ( the primary is pre-emtive)
but the economy of scale is quite different from regular AA
AaA Classic Expanded.pdf This rules where published in a web site called wargamer.com (they no longer are there).
My intention is place them along with the AaA community as I saw there is a lot of stuff related to the Classic game but I could never find comments or reviews of this group of rules published back in 1999.
Don’t know create this rules or if they have ever been tested.[0_1619562293805_AaA Classic Expanded.odt](Uploading 100%)
You refer to this set of house rules for Axis and Allies Classic?
If so: I compiled these
I hope you enjoy.
This was before we finally got new games like Axis and Allies Europe and Axis and Allies Pacific.
Let me stress I used quite some stuff from this set of house rules:
So kudos for Craig Bertolucci for creating these.
@thrasher1 Yes I refer to that set of rules, as I can see the ones that I have were updated, as they include 2 escorts for the USA. thanks for the link.
My friends and I really played this very often. We saw some epic fights over South America. Even Japan liberating Argentina for Germany. Historically accurate? Nope. But we had LOTS of fun with these house rules.
Please check out more old stuff at my old site. Most of it can be accessed through archive.org .
Thanks a lot for the links.
Yes I think they should be a lot of fun, Historically perspective is the “excuse” for the kick off, but the game it self don’t need to follow a historically way on every round, but well yes Argentina being liberated by japan… well I could have happend, why not, German crew members from the Graf Spee were hosted in Argentina during the war, as they were not able to stay in Uruguay after their ship sunk, so why not…?
Actually I can’t fully try those rules as there are no local players where I live, so I have to find players from USA or Canada on TripleA.org to play by mail, and the actual players play G 40 only, no players for classic are found.
(please note: English is not my frist language)
Have you been able to try these house rules, Guillermo?
