    Will do that. In this scenario its nice to scramble into sz114 (Scotland), you can get more casualties on my side and or save the battleship. Its nice because you can kill more units on GER side, but the downside can be that the GER battleship can get away to safe harbor (repair) and get a much stronger fleet by doing so. Also your batteship in sz114 is damaged and its more often then not a sitting duck in the coming turn.

    So there are several reasons why a scramble is good, but also bad.

    Yes, its always nice to understand the reasons behind certain moves.

    Tell me what is your idea with the Russian Tact going to Siberia?!

    I dont think this is a smart move, but you might have a very good reason for it. So if there is a plan, then you dont have to say anything, but if this is just a move without a idea behind it, you might want to reconsider.

    @cds No scramble from Davao or Hawaii.

    I think you are right, it’ll probably be come back to Moscow ASAP. The extra Russain factories twisted my thinking, wasn’t sure whether the Japanese would be more tempted to go for them so wanted to add some counter attack potential (hence the 2 Art purchase and Tac move), but it seems a nothing move as I could just have used the factories to make more units for counter attacking. This map ‘feels’ bigger than G40 and the distance between the east and west Russian forces worries me, but I suppose those factories in the east give options to reinforce if needed.     Yes, the map is bigger, especially in Russia/Chi territory. Getting more realistic that way. Read the rules and notes about this game carefully, there are a couple of things different from the G40 gaming experience. Like unit cost and capabilties.

    The political situation is also with the new National Objectives and the Mongolian dispute.
