Robson (X) vs Kilroynothere (A) G40 YGTE - game2 revenge of the dice gods
-
@kilroynothere Dear Kilroy, I am still here but less often. I have to spend much more time in office currently so my time is pretty limited. However the evil axis plan still needs to be unfold :-) Will continue latest tomorrow.
-
@robson no worries at all, and no pressure. Lately I have been working much more than I normally do. It’s a good thing, but it does put a damper on some of the pastimes I enjoy!
I like what the Axis is up to this game, very curious how it will play out.
-
@kilroynothere sorry for the additional delay. We had quite a
stressfull time the last days.triplea_37995_3jap.tsvg -
@robson No worries, Robson. I would not have been able to make a move the last few days. Just so happened I had a free night tonight so perfect timing! Hope things are calming down a bit for you.
Also, my family will be in Italy from July 2-25th so I will be forcing us to take a break. Hope you are OK with that. Really looking forward to seeing Italy again. Been 37 years!
-
@kilroynothere Wow that is absolutely amazing. Which part of Italy do you go? We go there pretty regularly as my first wife was italian and my youngest daughter wants to see her relatives there in a town called Fondi (right between Rome and Naples on the western coast). But it does not matter which area you visit in Italy you can´t go wrong.
Wish you a wonderful holiday there. -
@robson We are going to see a great deal of Italy on this trip. Rome down to Pompeii and then Amalfi coast with another American couple friend of ours. Then it is just my wife and my daughters up to Florence and then Tuscany. We end in Venice for a few days and then fly out of Bologna. My mom’s family is actually from the Naples area as well. Inland town named Benevento. We are very, very excited

matching to our conversation the italian turn :-) -
@robson hopefully the actual Italians will be a tad bit nicer to the Allies when they land in July!
-
@Robson Hi Robson, just checking in to see how things are going. No pressure as you’ve mentioned how busy you have been. I have as well…
-
Hey Kilroynothere, my apologies for being late once more. Just a lot going on at the moment. Had the chance tonight to check our game. It is really interesting
-
@robson No worries whatsoever. And yeah… like the super aggressive Germany! Making UK/US have to dance! fun.
-
@robson UKP turn 4… getting interesting in the Pacific as well. triplea_37995_4UKP.tsvg

Hey Kilroy, took a while, but here we are. -
@robson sorry for my delay, I was out of town this weekend. This game is fascinating! I like that we are on round 4 and I still have no idea exactly what is going on.

No worries. I will be off from today until Saturday. It is extremly difficult to secure the med as the italians but I hope I can hold my ground :-) triplea_37995_4it.tsvg
-
@robson Yeah, Italy is under some pressure, but they tend to hold on for a long, long time even with a lot of Allied attention. Tough nut to crack. Plus, the German navy is a beast! Enjoy the time away.
-
@Robson Sorry for this delay. Ended up getting in a car wreck (nothing major and no injuries), but enough that my 2012 Audi was considered “totaled” so am having to navigate this through insurance, and getting a new car. Eating up my time. Think I have it all figured out so hopefully will have something back to you here soon.
-
@robson Very sorry for the delay. What an interesting game! I think all the players except for Russia is in a very different stance than I may have ever seen. Fun!

triplea_37995_5ger.tsvg Hey Kilroy no problem. Actually my wife and me got Covid and we are sick since more then a week. Meanwhile I can at least focus enough for 10-15 minutes before brain fog kicks in again.
-
@robson sorry to hear you guys got ill. Hope your recovery is swift. I know a few friends have had lingering coughs weeks afterward.
We have been busy getting ready to go on our Italy trip and my wife just had food poisoning and we had to go to the doctor. Better than an appendix issue we were fearful of. So, I have been distracted the last week in preparation for leaving. We leave tomorrow, but I have finished UKP. If you happen to finish Japan today, I know generally what I want to do with UK, so should be able to get that done today if you have time. If not, then we can catch up in a few weeks.
Oh, and I love the aggressive Germany! Definitely messing with my plans! triplea_37995_5ukp.tsvg
