  • @freh I’ve been waiting for the transport or marine to take Philippines or something that I overlooked but since that didn’t happen… I’m guessing at this point you didn’t recognize that Japan has met her victory conditions?


  • @lennardf oops. I thought you would need a 7th Pacific if I had a European capital, but I just read it and saw that it’s specifically the German capital, and not Southern Italy. I thought I would be able to hold you off if I took Southern Italy.

    Oh well, lesson learned. Good game. That was fun.

  • @lennardf yeah, I wonder if I could have held you off from taking Hawaii if I had tried harder. I was trying to prevent you from taking all 3 of India, NSW and Hawaii, but NSW was always less likely and I could have blocked you. My play over the last 2-3 rounds probably would have changed if I had realized that you were that close to winning!


  • @freh yeah, I was kinda angling towards this for awhile now since Italy was just hopeless and Germany was under the gun for so long. I expected you would switch gears sooner and that it would be a race in the Pacific for me to get Japan on par with US income.
