Are the german inf in sz115 on the italian tt or the german? Makes a difference to my battle calcs!
@wizmark The inf are on the Italian TT, but I think we need to hold off on a rules clarification. I thought the CV scramble rule for land units only applied to amphibious assaults. The latest version seems to say that any adjacent land unit will be defended. This makes the CVs much more powerful, and more importantly affects my placement of units in Queensland. If I can scramble to defend from a land attack from NSW, then I want everyone there and the other territories are meaningless.

@surfer the current rule is 1 plane per carrier to adjacent land with a unit so atm in queensland you have up to 6 fighters that can scramble if the anzacs attack. Carriers are super powerful as support ships now!
If that is the rule, then I would mod my reinforcements of Queensland. Put everyone there. The first game I played the rule was written – “CV scramble to defend adjacent ships and amphibious assaults”, now importantly, it just defends adjacent territories (provided you have a unit present)…
This plays very differently in Queensland, because I could put 5 guys + 6 ftrs which makes the NSW unit attack not very viable.
Sure I don’t have anyone in Solomons or N. Aust, but who cares the capital is done.
If the amphib assault rule is in effect, then I wouldn’t have 6 ftrs and the 5 guys would be toast.
@surfer yes it is def defending against land attack…feel free to change your positions…dont forget to take 1 ipc off if you dont take n terrrritory though!
