    @Amon-Sul it will be hard for me to hold it in the short term, so still might be the right decision.

    Yeah, it is a big difference of taking Egypt (with IC and/or airfield) by surprise, or entering the empty Egypt, which can be threatened from all sides.

    Adam showed me that in one of our games. I walked in an empty Egypt, but my luck was short lived.

    But, it does not mean U wont be able to hold it .

    We shall see.

  • @Amon-Sul one thing to know is that the vichy fleet doesn’t block my movement. Only yours. Let me know if that changes anything.


  • @farmboy I’m not sure if it actually does. I was just assuming the destroyer in 94 was a blocker but just realized that you used it in attack.

    Later on (at ncm stage) I realized I did not block U.

    So, if U are ready to allow me to move my destroyer to sz 92 that would be cool (i had enough air to crack ur des in sz 94 i think that pulling back my des does not change a thing - I scored 7/9 , and it was 4.50 on average)

    sorry didn’t see all these posts until now. Normally I wouldn’t allow you to pull a unit out of a combat once dice are rolled, but can make an exception. Its minor and also I know that Vichy confuses things. For a long time I thought that fleet blocked for both sides.
    So feel free to make the edit. For some reason though I can’t open the file you posted as a forum game. Can you redo. Also did you update to the most recent version of the game? That might be why. I also noticed last night that the game calculator was freezing on me.

    I updated my version and the game is operating normally now. I’ll still want you to repost a forum game with your edits, to make sure I get them right. But you can move the destroyer where you want.
