Maybe those interested in a fix (provided it is a TripleA issue - what is not yet proven) should post in
https://forums.triplea-game.org/topic/3061/marti-issues
to show their support.
Sorry if this isnt proper format. Can supply more examples if needed.
in 1.9 you could take a forum game, load in local mode, and play the turn out. Then you could open up forum mode, load an autosave (after CM for example) and then execute the turn. really convenient way to make sure you dont mess up your combat moves when in real mode. In new versions, it loses dice server and forum info so you have to repopulate those fields every time, which is really frustrating.
On I1, there is a uk sub in 96. TripleA wont let transports move to z95 and load units for combat movement. Transport should be able to ignore the sub to load units.
I have a german sub in 106 on G2. I should be able to move that sub to any sea zone, for example 101 during NCM even if there is a dd present. But tripleA says that I cant advance a unit into battle during NCM. Subs are allowed to move into combat zones even ones with dd during NCM.
Thank you! Please see https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/35529/how-to-submit-a-bug-report
Which game/map are you playing? Is everyone on the latest software version?
sorry meant to say BM3m map 3.4.0, tripleA version 2.2.20868
Will try to follow official bug submission guide at some point but just wanted to get it posted
@ksmckay Thank you. I cannot reproduce your issues # 2 and 3 with the current TripleA pre-release and a new started game.
Concerning issue # 1 a workaround would be to quit the program after your local turn. When restarted and reloaded the information is back.
regarding issue 1, then I have to redo all the combat movement. Im not saying its unsolvable, but its really nice for complicated turns to make sure the moves are right before running in real mode.
ill post game saves
@ksmckay said in 2.2 bugs, forum autosaves and sub rules issues.:

I agree, that is uncomfortable.
try picking up a unit from Tob in Italian combat.
Try moving a sub from 106 to 101 in NCM.
@ksmckay Thanks, I see that. However try the same or a similar situation (not the same savegame) with the latest TripleA-pre-release and you wouldn’t be able to reproduce it.
Loading the savegame in the latest pre-release shows the issues again, as problems in games started in the past cannot be resolved by updating the TripleA client, as updating the client does not change the game information stored in savegame files. In other words: As long as nobody starts new games with up-to-date clients and maps, the problems, saved in savegame-files, will be carried over and continue.
I recommend to update your Global map installation, as the current BM version AFAIK is 4.0.
Bm4 is a different, non standard version. By prerelease you mean a newer version of tripleA that hasn’t been released yet?
@ksmckay Yes, those provided here: https://github.com/triplea-game/triplea/releases.
But interestingly I cannot reproduce those issues when using the current release 2.0.20868, either.
I recreated your scenarios and everything went fine.
So I have no idea what messed up your game…
My BM installation (4.0) is the standard that comes with the Global-map-installation.
