  • Ok. I don’t what I just did, but I did it. Apparently my damage in India was 14 , which meant the inf I purchased is now gone with the wind.

    It’s fairly late, and I’m fairly frustrated with how I am interacting with this computer game. I’m more than happy to leave it as it is.

    Your edited your destroyer out of SZ16!?!?!?! I don’t see why.

    And Holland - you took the Art as a casualty in the battle. To edit it back in is ok, so you can take the territory, but a US Fig or the tac needs to be edited out as the alternate casualty.

    Please advise.

  • I was trying to recreate the results of the original rolls, which had the effect seen. The results you are espousing are from the second set of battles; which I didn’t want to do, I just wanted to add the SZ 125 battle, but redid the whole thing because I didn’t know how to do anything else. The 3rd Russian was in my first Russian map that I redid later.

    I’m very sorry for my sloppy management of this game. The interface is all very new to me and I’m struggling with several aspects of it. The map view, the sequence. How to and when to save the game. I just noticed that you have a Japanese fleet in the Indian Ocean, for example. I’m trying to learn the game, but at the same time find myself struggling with how to use the program and see the board in the same way that I would see a board on a table. At the same time, I’m embarrassed for making so many mistakes and constantly asking for assistance. It’s just turned this game into a total bummer.

    In fact, at this point, most of my questions have been answered and we can just call the game for you as the victor if you want.

    I would really like to start a new one as the Allies. I’m afraid that whatever lessons I have learned will be forgotten if I try the Axis next.
    I’d also like to have the benefit of a bid, since you are obviously a much more skilled player than I at this point in our development.


  • All that said, I would hate to rob you of continuing the game if that is what you wish. I will be more than happy to continue on, keep the Belorussia at 2, remove the art from Belgium and return the destroyer to that one SZ.

    We can start a new game, no prob. It’ll go far better now that you have the gist of the program. No worries. Same as if you had played for the first time in real life on the board - much of the first try is just learning what does what - your concentrating so much on that that its hard to focus on the strategy aspects.
