The Italian national objective states that Italy gets it, if there are no “Allied ships” in the Med, rather than “Allied surface warships”.

@CaptainNapalm Well observed. The game notes can never mirror the complexity of rulebooks, however that would be an easy correction/clarification/fix.

Just checking, it’s not just the wording of the NO but the way the rule is applied by the engine, right? Because I’m pretty sure in my last few games, a sub in the Med was enough to cancel out the NO when this shouldn’t have been the case.

My bad on this one Panther. I just finished a game where I thought subs were denying the NO, but it seems even when the allied fleets left the Med, there was at least one dd or ac remaining. Sorry about that!
