    I think I’ll resign after that dice roll in Egypt. I like the map. Having the islands straddling the zones was innovative. Still, the income situation for the Axis is even worse than oob. I knew I was going to lose the first turn by looking at the Japanese income. I was going to have to go 100% pacific. Russia could not go head to head with Germany pulling in the 70s. And gb had to commit everything to keeping the island and maybe regaining Egypt. What am I missing?

    The Axis have only three or four territories more than normal and they are about to crush the Allies in Africa, blow through to the Middle East with german tanks. They are about to rise exponentially. I don’t have a lot of experience with balanced mod. Even with g40oob, I would like to like NOs, but it and everyone who modifies it does the same Rich get richer to help the axis win, but if somehow the allies start winning they can eventually have money too. America needs a lot more money. GB needs more money.

    Thanks for the privilege of playing with your new toy. We could switch?


  • @crockett36 i do agree that the map favors a KJF approach for the USA in many (but not all cases). In the games I’ve played, I’ve found that Russia is strong enough to hold Germany for quite a long time.

    One thing: I noticed on your Russia turn, you attacked territories near Leningrad with 1 infantry. This should have prompted an airbase scramble for me from Leningrad (since there were planes there). In this game, planes scramble to land battles. Just something to keep in mind for future games.

    I didn’t think you were getting Moscow anytime soon. but the income deficit that is going to occur because of the bad rolling in Egypt and the take over of the Middle East that I have no defense for is inevitable and unstoppable. Did you look at the Egypt battle. one in a thousand roll.
