  • @wizmark I wonder if you’d be so kind and let me change having the two transports in SZ36 as auto kills and put them together with the fleet in SZ37 or similar? I totally missed your fighter on Java when deciding to put them there. This is pretty much the game otherwise as it totally destroys Japan’s 3rd round and on. I realize it has major impact on the game, but thinking this could be redemption for your change in the last game with Japan. I am happy to include some kind of penalty for Japan though.

    @Pejon_88 Thats a tricky one, one of the reasons I dow’ed was to sink those tts…and slightly different situation in that I was undone by abysmal rolling, whereas yours was an oversight on the board. Some players are very strict in saying that once your turn is done thats that.

    I guess I could accept you taking a 14 ipc loss, but you didnt have enough movement to reach sz 37 so if you want them protected you would have to move your fleet back to sz36…

    How about this…you take the 14 ipc loss, your fleet back to sz 36 for tt protection keeping the 2 units on board the tt that would have been in 37, I can change the anzac fighters move, obvs he wouldnt have suicided on attacking the whole fleet! And I need to look at UKPAC buys and ncm and french ncm…from 37 you could hit india, from 36 you couldnt so I might have changed my buys based on that.

  • Yes I understand, in hindsight, that was one of the main reasons for the DOW . On the other hand, only the Chinese rolled dice in the Pacific, I think, so it would be easy to re-do what was done on the Pacific side. Maybe you want to keep the DOW and that is also fine, totally up to you? I agree that this is a very tricky one to decide. I am definitely OK with putting my fleet in SZ36 without additional changes.

    Apologies for the additional work on your part, but really appreciate it.

    Let’s do like this. We go with your suggestion of -14 and fleet in SZ36. Then you decide if you want to go back to the Americans and go from there to change your whole turn or if you want to do small tweaks instead. Just tell me when you are done and I’ll go G3 or wherever we are.

    @Pejon_88 Couple of slight changes to ncm and combat…didnt bother taking FIC as convoys would have killed it, moved to yunnan instead, moved anzac dd to sz37, and changed UKPAC buy…how do you feel?
