Some time ago it also worked at home. One PC has windows7 the other windows8, antivirus and firewall deactivated… perhaps it could be something connected to the ADSL router…
I also tried different versions of Triple A…same problem
My family and I are tired of fighting over our only laptop, and thinking of buying another one. Not knowing much about computers, I wanted to check to see if TripleA worked just fine with Chromebooks, or should I get another laptop?
@CaptainNapalm Chromebooks run with ChromeOS, that is a different OS from those TripleA is made for. Usually you cannot run TripleA on Chromebooks, as they do not support Java natively.
Now newer chromebooks allow to install and run some Linux apps. Personally I have never tested that, so I cannot tell neither whether TripleA would run or not nor how easy or difficult that might be.
But as you said that you don’t know much about computers you should be warned.
I would definitely get a laptop if you want to play TripleA. Trying to do so with a Chromebook is asking for trouble and you would be mostly by yourself trying to troubleshoot what was causing problems between ChromeOS, whatever brand of Linux was on board, your Windows emulator, and TripleA. And if you lost me in that last sentence, you really do not want to try to play TripleA on a Chromebook.
