  • Ouch. You got your 5% there and it’s about a 20 IPC swing on Sumatra. I could have bombarded but it seemed like weak play. God dammit!

    Technically a 7% odds of holding (1% of that was a tie). As a general note, as unlikely things do happen it sometimes make sense to have a backup plan. For instance, I’ve got a mobile infantry in Western US in case Japan decides to attack Alaska. Without a way of re-invading you can lose two turns of income.

    It might be useful for ANZACs to always have a transport ready in case Japan leaves any islands open.

    In this case, you don’t have a way of re-invading if I kill the infantry on Java…
