    I forgot to move the Anzac fighters to defend Carolines. Darn it! It should have been an even fight or slightly in my favor. I’m going to start keeping logs for all of my games so I remember what I need to do in the future. And I forgot about the US destroyer off of NZ (that I didn’t see until just now, the NZ fighters were always a part of the plan)!

  • I wasn’t sure if you were trying to bleed me or what but… I had to sleep on that move. I hear you about needing a system - it’s hard to complain about TripleA because it’s pretty amazing for free software but I’d love to be able to tag places on the map as post-combat reminders for things I don’t want to forget.

    The 3 Anzac fighters would have made it a good move (especially with the counter-attack potential). I wonder if that is why people are always buying Anzac fighters? I’ve been leaning towards ANZAC buying subs and transports (and inf/art).

    I would have scrambled. It has improves the expected unit loss by a bit and the Germans could do a decent counter if things go badly.

    I was even considering an airbase in case things went badly and I had to retreat to Malta. And if I didn’t need it I could have put it in Egypt. But $15 is a lot of money to waste if you don’t need it…
