    @akreider2 An easy way to tell on the screen for a destroyer is that they all have a little cross on their tops…simulating a radar tower i guess! Putting the mouse cursor over the unit on the screen also gives info on what it is and what it can do! 👎

    If I form Vichy, do I get the three inf on Alg? Assuming they aren’t moved.
    But then I don’t get the Toulon fleet because it moved away from SZ93, right?

    @akreider2 you don’t get them automatically…if they go Vichy (which I’m not sure they do!) they will go pro axis neutral which means you only get them if you move an axis unit into their area.
    Toulon fleet will stay allied now 😃

    Thanks! The three tactical fighters were going to SBR on UK, but I messed up the move on the map. I think Triple A uses a solid black line to fit additional units on a territory, so I moved the planes to be next to my other planes on that line. But the line was over the water, so it thought I was going for SZ110.

    This is my first SBR using Triple A so I’m hoping I do the rest of it correctly.

    More mistakes. So… tactical bombers cannot bomb factories. I’m guessing you’ll let me redo my move and just have the tactical bombers do nothing (I won’t bring them in on the SZ109 fight), is that ok?

    @akreider2 tac bombers can only bomb harbours and airfields they get a 1d6 with no extra points. Strat bombers can bomb everything and get a +2 to a 1d6.

    yeah play around with your attack until you find what works for what you want to do

    This is my second ever Sea Lion attempt. First was in the Europe 1940. Hmm, might be easier for the US to take it back in Global. I feel sad for the transports!

    Well expected damage of 11 (or 7.7 with an expected 1/3 chance of a AA hit), got 13. Lost a fighter on SZ109. Overall it looks like it evened out, maybe a 1 IPC gain for me.

    When I was planning this strategy I thought I could use tactical bombers on the IC and was going to (80% probability) get 20 damage.

    I’m very liable to make a mistake. Just panicked when I thought Russia might be able to declare war on Germany and wipeout my transports. I’m still used to Revised where the distances were so much shorter. Fortunately Russia cannot declare war until Round 4 or I take the UK.

    Do people ever go super-aggressive with the Russia buy? I guess Germany still has an army lead and could use the UK money to invade Russia, so that probably tempers the buy.

    Hmm I maybe should have tried to set it up to have the ability to hit EPL and fake Sea Lion, but I was a bit stretched. Have you ever see anyone do this? Might be hard and once you spend 60-70 IPCs on transports, it’d be a shame to waste them.
